Location: Northern Stangletorn is a great farming area for these. Widen the path a bit to pickup a few extra if you want. Linger close to the mountains and grab up some Briarthorn as well. Spawn time is pretty fast and you will probably be able to continue nonstop until you get all you need.

Pretty much circle the zone picking any herbs you find. You will also want to grab any Silverleaf while farming. Location: Best locations are Elwynn Forest and Durotar. In many cases when farming for one herb you are going to also come across a 2nd and possibly 3rd. Saving the harder to get herbs for Alchemy. I found it is best to try and get all the same herbs, and usually stick to which ever is easiest to obtain. Unlike Alchemy, you just need a handful (usually 5) of one of the proper level herbs to mill your pigments. However, the pigment can only make the ink next to it. For example, Mageroyal can mill into Dusky Pigment and/or Verdant Pigment. The herbs in the row can result in any of the pigments in the same row. * Note that you can obtain these through most \ all gathering skills, but this guide is about herbalism and Inscription so just noted that way of obtaining. So here are some tables to show you which Herbs to which Pigments, and which Pigments to which Inks. But trying to figure out which herbs becomes which pigments that then can be turned into which inks can be very confusion. Sometimes the best way is just to go herb or buy low level herbs. When doing inscritption you need to turn herbs to pigments and then into inks.

However, may be a great resource to have along with any herbalism or Inscription guide. This guide is not how to level Herbalism or Inscription. I have started to level my main herbalist / inscriptionist, and once she hits max level I will add in things such as herbing routes, and the likes. Sorry it's taken so long to get BFA and Shadowlands updated here.
